I am a 3rd year PhD student at the University of Utah in the School of Computing and SCI Institute, mentored by Katherine E. Isaacs. I got my B.Eng. degree from Shandong University. I also interned at Adobe Research in the summer of 2025.

My current research is mainly in the field of Human Computer Interaction and Data Visualization. I care about using visualization as a communication medium to convey knowledge and insights from data. I also find joy in crafting visualization designs and engineering automations that animate these designs.

<...> Outside of research, I watch and play table tennis and was part of the school team. I also enjoy outdoor activities (e.g., hiking & camping). When I am on vacation, I spend time playing video games apart from having fun with friends. (I have developed many new hobbies since I last updated this page, but will find another time to put them here.)
